'The Voice' is a competition called by that name for a reason. It's a contest for the most talented people in the field of singing. Contestants are handpicked based on their performances from the 'blind auditions'. 

Those fortunate and skilled enough to pass can eventually make it up to the grand finals.

You will be surprised to know that the judges actually turned their chairs around for a guy who did not even sing at all during his audition. 

He just stood there producing unique sounds from his bong. Yes, you heard that right. This 'ganja boy' made it on the 'The Voice.'
